Open-faced Fried Egg Sandwich

  • cooking oil for frying
  • 1 large egg
  • toast to serve
  • 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon House On A Hill's Herb Salt (Japanese Blend) to serve


  1. Heat enough cooking oil to coat the bottom of a frying pan.

  2. Crack the egg directly into the pan. Cook until the egg white is set but the yolk is still soft.

  3. To assemble: Place the toast on a plate and lay the fried egg over it. Sprinkle liberally with House On A Hill's Herb Salt (Japanese Blend). Serve at once.
