Sprinkled fried egg, sunny side up, with plain salt is good. But it is also so 1950’s. Elevate your fried egg experience by ditching plain salt and using House On A Hill’s Herb Salt (Japanese Blend) instead. Absolutely amazing!
Open-faced Fried Egg Sandwich
- cooking oil for frying
- 1 large egg
- toast to serve
- 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon House On A Hill's Herb Salt (Japanese Blend) to serve
Heat enough cooking oil to coat the bottom of a frying pan.
Crack the egg directly into the pan. Cook until the egg white is set but the yolk is still soft.
To assemble: Place the toast on a plate and lay the fried egg over it. Sprinkle liberally with House On A Hill's Herb Salt (Japanese Blend). Serve at once.
