Me: “Oh come on. We’ll name her Danielle, like Drew Barrymore in Ever After (the only version of Cinderella that I like). Danielle… Dani for short.”
Alex: “Dani’s a boy’s name.”
Me: “So is Sam. So is Alex.”
Silence for a few moments.
Me: “Oh, alright, I’ll name her Clover instead.”
Alex: “Yuuuuccckkk!!!”
Duh, and she calls herself a Totally Spies fan.

I’m sure my kids can relate kasi sila ang nanood nyan. But, I love Ever After too. My husband thinks it odd that I do because I’m an anti-sappy person. This, however, is not sappy!!

Kongkong, o di ba, Ever After is the only version of Cinderella where she showed some spirit and was not the timid and totally obedient young woman in the fairy tale. I like the angle that her obedience was a consequence of the thirst for a mother figure. And… click the Totally Spies links para ma-get mo hahahaha

I like Ever After too; Totally Spies - only my daughter knows. But clicking on the link - ah, oo nga pala, sila nga. Mas familiar ako kasi sa Power Puff. Say, what about naming her Emma or Ginger after the revived Spice Girls? hehehe.
