Too big for my cooking pot

Speedy and I went to Farmer’s Market in Cubao yesterday to buy panga ng tuna which he later grilled for last night’s dinner. While hopping from fish stall to fish stall looking for the freshest fish with the lowest price, he pointed to these large fish which, by their looks, appeared to be maya-maya (snapper). They were so large and plump (I was so sure their tummies held sacs of roe) and I was really tempted to buy them but I knew that unless I had them chopped, there was no way they’d fit into any of my cooking pots. Of course the temptation passed. In a household of six, the maya-maya would be coming out of our ears by the time the last piece was cooked.
