When Cookie tagged me for the rockin’ girl blogger meme, I paused for a long time wondering what to do. To be quite honest, I don’t do memes. I haven’t in ages. I used to get tagged so often and after a while, I guess people just got tired of tagging me because I never played along. It’s partly because most memes suck while others require too much work for a lot of inanities. But a recognition for female bloggers is not an inanity. So, I’m playing.
There are very few blogs that I can in all honesty say that I like totally. However, there are specific blog entries that I find simply outstanding. Sometimes, I find them hidden in blogs that contain 90% Youtube videos and online quizzes. Blogs like that, I cannot label as great. But neither can I ignore the substance of one fantastic blog entry even if it is the only one in a blog that I wouldn’t care to visit a second time.
Then, like I said, there are the gems — blogs that pay attention not only to substance but to form as well. They have clean designs and even greater content.
The question is how do I choose which girl blogger rocks? For a singular entry that stands out or for the total quality of her blog? Perhaps, both. 
I vote for the following. I didn’t bother checking if they have been tagged for this meme already. I don’t care.
