In January 11, 1982, two men attempted to rob the McDonald’s at 11421 S. Halsted Street in Chicago. A security guard, Lloyd Wycliffe, was killed with a shotgun. Another security guard, Alvin Thompson, was wounded. The robbers were not able to take any money but they fled with the security guards’ guns.
