We were in U.P. Diliman yesterday for some outdoor photography and, as usual, one of subjects we spent a lot of time on was the sunflower. There are rows and rows of sunflowers along University Avenue and it was just a matter of finding the perfect flower, the perfect angle and the most interesting shots. As usual too, Sam took the most interesting photos.

It wasn’t easy trying to get close to the bees without scaring them off. Sam almost got stung a couple of times.

I like your phrase “I love sunflowers! They are just so… happy.” They truly are that’s why I painted my kitchen yellow that reminds me of sunflowers.

Love the photos.

My kitchen is yellow too, KK. And one set of curtains in the house have sunflower prints. :)

I like speedy’s picture of the budding flower best.
