Sonya’s Bed and Breakfast

Just outside Tagaytay City is an inn that had been getting a lot of media attention. It’s called Sonya’s Bed & Breakfast and we were there in late November last year. Although the main attraction of the inn is the menu made from home-grown herbs and vegetables, including edible flowers, I cannot show you photos of the food because we did not have our meal there. The place was packed and the kids wanted to go to Mushroomburger in Tagaytay City. So, during the hour or so that we spent there, we took photos of the flowers in the garden and of some of the interesting things in the souvenir shop. These are some of them.

These photos used to be spread in my different blogs but since a lot of things have changed since I lost four months’ worth of blog entries when my database crashed last December, I am posting them all here to give you a picture of what there is to see at Sonya’s.

First, the pond. When I took these photos, I was merely focusing on the flowers. I was pleasantly surprised when, after downloading the photos to my computer, I realized that the reflections on the pond’s surface made them even more interesting.

We were there last January, & we liked the place very much. It’s very awesome! Sonia was there to greet everyone having lunch. The food as well as the table setting is great… It’s a must see & we are going back there when we come back to the Philippines.
