Personalized Christmas gift tags

by Connie Veneracion on December 28, 2006

Sounds unbelievable but we’re not through yet with Christmas gift wrapping. We’ve been doing it in batches. A day before each reunion or party, we wrap whatever would be distributed the following day, and so on, and so forth. We wrapped the second to the last batch of gifts this afternoon and we hope to finish everything tomorrow.

While I still do most of the wrapping, it’s really been enjoyable how we had divided the work among us. My husband makes the trips to the bookstore every time we run out of wrapping paper. The girls designed and printed the gift tags.

Actually, there’s a little story about the gift tags. See, I bought none because I found the prices horrendous. My husband suggested that we print personalized gift tags on sticker papers which are really cheap. The girls loved the idea and started making designs using Adobe Photoshop CS. Then, they printed their designs and you can see below what the result was.

That’s Sam’s very “catty” Christmas design. Alex had her own design which was printed on another batch of sticker papers but they had been used up before I thought of taking photos.

I really felt good that even the task of gift-wrapping became a family project. :)

LOL dumaan din kami sa nanggugulo sila stage. Soon they’d be old enough to cut the scotch tape for you then they’ll be wrapping gifts as well. :) Ah how time flies.
