maiz-con-hielo

Yesterday was an exceptionally hot and humid summer day. Just when all I could think of was spending the entire afternoon in the bath tub with a pitcher of cold drink beside me, Speedy came home with an ice chest full of shaved ice, two cartons of milk and two cans of sweet corn kernels. Cold, cold, COLD maiz con hielo on such a hot afternoon was nothing short of heavenly.

    maiz con hielo is so easy to prepare, I don’t understand why it can cost so much when you eat out!
