When we entered the Subic Expressway earlier in the day, we were handed flyers that said all duty-free shops would be open until midnight all throughout the Independence Day weekend. There would also be fireworks at midnight…
We were about 10 meters away from where the fireworks were lighted so we viewed them directly overhead—which made photography a strain on the neck (left the tripod in the car) but it was worth the effort….
