I wear my sunglasses at night
Believe me, if there were a more apt title, I wouldn’t have used a line from a song.

He (maybe, she) uses the cats’ water bowl for a swimming dipping pool most nights.
It’s going to be a very busy two weeks ahead as the schoolyear winds up. There are also domain and server issues I have to attend to over the weekend. Plus, one other major thing, a sort of a new job, which I will write about another time.
One has to have some diversion to ward off the stress, after all. Mine is photography. And cooking.
P.S. No, I wasn’t that near the toad. The photo was taken through the window using a telephoto lens. I wouldn’t go within three feet of the horny thing.
A third of what’s been written about me is true, a third is half-true and the rest consists of drug-induced hallucinations. I suppose I’d better let me, rather than them, tell you

I hope you can still find time to smell the flowers. I hope everything goes well po.
The frog reminds me of my very own frog in Biology lab.
Thanks, Lance.
Are the frogs in the bio lab THAT HUGE? I thought smaller species were used.
Buti na lang naimbento ang telephoto lens. LOL.
This reminds me of my biology days, too.
Actually, what we had were toads and I believe that the one in the picture is a toad as well. My partner and I even named our toads. One was named Ferdinand. I can’t remember the name of the other one though. Hehe.
Imelda? HAHAHAHA
Hi C,
Watch your new dog carefully around toads and bullfrogs because some of them excrete poisons/toxins on their skin and it will harm your dog (or cat!) if they attempt to play with them or mouth them.
Four christmases ago, our dachshund Max played chasey with a bullfrog in my mom’s garden one minute and then he was nearly dead the next. We had to speed to the vet’s to get antivenom shots because if we had found him any later he would have been dead.
LOL. Maybe. Because I remember that one of our toads was a male, the other was a female.
I agree with Mik. Toads have poison glands in their dermis so be careful.
I would have entitled it “I’m Horny all night long” but then that’s another line from a song
And about Mik’s comment, yung white na lumalabas sa likod nitong palang karag na ‘yan yung lason. Try mo i-prick may lalabas na white, eeew
Mik, talaga? ‘Cause some of the cats have eaten frogs — the small ones though with webbed feet. Not toads, definitely.
Ria, pwede ring Dovey Beams? LOL
Kotsengkuba, I don’t know that song ha. HAHAHAHA At anong i-prick, ‘di nga ako lumalapit, ‘noh?
I think the small frogs wouldn’t have a lot of toxins or anything at all, pero the big toads and bullfrogs are the ones to watch out for. I just thought kasi since your dog is a puppy and could be a bit playful, it might be a potential problem if he chases it around. The big toads/bullfrogs spray the toxins out of their backs kasi.
Some are. But mine was, well, average. The photo was just nostalgic. Reminded me of my crime.
Mik, he is a puppy. 2-1/2 months old. Better keep him indoors after dark and if he has to be brought out to poop or pee, have to shoo away any toads… now, how do I shoo away the toads
