Hahaha, connie if you are doing sit ups everyday inside your room for a months or so that will never be fun, you can do a variety of exercises and you can switch it every now and then once you feel bored,A skipping rope for 20 minutes 3X a week will do wonder,a hula hoop or a pipe nailed on the door for pull up and chin ups is good for upper body exercises.Remember you dont need an hour to do this only 20 to 30 minutes a week is good enough and you can even break it to 10minutes in the morning and 10 minutes at night that doesnt make any difference. But remember to stay motivated all the time. When you last for at least 2 months, indoor exercises can become a lifestlye.

I think that the way to stick to any exercise regimen is to actually enjoy it. Personally, I can't see how doing situps inside a room can be fun.

I know a lot of people who starts dieting and exercising quit after a few month and even days and they do have the same alibis, why they stop ,theres not much space to exercise, too busy, fastfoods are enticing, canned foods are easier to prepare, too poor to care about exercising, too tired etc.But you know what if a person really cares about his health and fully motivated to do exercises He will find a way to do it and too can win his battle against obesity. "attempt the end,and never stand to doubt; Nothings so hard, but search will find it out"

You know, Ben, I look at the streets of Metro Manila and wonder how anyone can be expected to walk. The irony is that the opportunity to walk means more than just health for the individual. It also means less transportation and, ergo, less fuel consumption and pollution.

What's obvious is that young people especially, are far more constantly distracted than we had ever been at just the mere routine of daily chores, something as mundane and seemingly unphysical as washing the dishes or doing the laundry, ironing or hanging clothes out to dry. Heck, have you noticed how much 'physically' harder it is to write in longhand rather than punch out words on a keyboard? But you're right in that the shrinking physical space of the city leaves most people with no choice. They can't be blamed where government has failed so miserably at everything for the public welfare.
