Green berries?

by Connie Veneracion on April 30, 2007

Given the definition of a flower as the reproductive part of a plant, the green globes found in the photos might pass off as flowers.

green berries and orange stalks

But since a flower also has to possess certain physical characteristics (must have a calyx, corolla, androecium and gynoecium) to be categorized as such, then these things can’t be flowers.

Still pretty, anyway.
