Ay matagal ko nang alam yan. Which is why my house is a mess

The only housework I enjoy is cooking and cleaning the banyo. As for my anger management issues…I bake bread. There’s nothing like punching dough to relieve stress. Hanggang punching assholes pa lang kasi ang naiimagine ko eh..hehehe

Why do I feel one with you and Cookie about the chores?

House chores haters unite! Pero ayoko naman magkarun ng maid, baka lalo lang ako ma-stress. So in the end, it is still me who does the work, with some help here and there from the kids.

HAHAHA and Julie joins the club. Actually, okay lang naman to do the housework. It’s just that I don’t want to acquire the personality of a Stepford Wife, you know? Like my success as a wife and mother is measured by an immaculately clean house where every book, magazine and throw pillow is in place; where curtains, linen and upholstery match and are always dust-free; AND still appear without a strand of hair out of place… Naku, ha, I have better things to think about and do, di ba?

I’m not a wife but if I were, I’d be Bette Midler in Stepford. Her house was a mess, di ba?

Ah, Em, but that house had a real heart! It was an extension of her SELF. hehehe I hate sterile houses that look like they’re been posed for a magazine photo shoot.

ay, no offense but ako, i love housework. Siguro it matters a lot having no children, so si hubby lang ang nagkakalat. Pag badtrip ako, general cleaning ang ginagawa ko, as in tapon dito, tapon dun ng mga hindi na masyadong kailangan. And of course i love cooking but still have no courage baking.

Andun sa Margarita glasses na entry yung new year’s resolution ko…stop drinking beer, so help me God! LOL

Me naman - I’m hiring a maid this new year. Ayaw ko na ng housework - nakakabobo! Siyempre, stressed out ka sa kakalinis, kakaayos, etc. paano pa gagana ang utak?

At ang plano ko - sa susunod na pasko, ayaw kong mag-celebrate sa bahay. Gusto ko sa isang cruise ship, o kahit saan, basta sa ibang lugar - para hindi na ako mapagod sa pag prepare ng noche buena. Stylish pa, o di ba? hehehe. At ayaw ko ring ma-pressure na kailangan sa umaga ng Dec 25 at Jan 1 ay nasa family reunions kami sa side ko at side ng hubby. Susme, taon-taon, ganun na lang ang ginagawa. Minsan minsan naman, gusto ko, yung kami lang ng family ko ang mag-celebrate.

Brenda, kanya-kanyang therapy talaga. Ikaw linis, ako luto o di kaya… wala. hehehehe

Rhodora, I know what you mean about “expectations” when it comes to traditional family reunions. Kami, we go if we feel like it only. In fact, for years we didn’t but then I felt that those were the years when the kids were young and it was more important for us to be together as a family first. Priority — kids; not pleasing relatives, di ba?

Agree ako dyan sa cruise ship. Wag lang ma-Poseidon hehehehe

Baka kaya yung asawa ko e kung hampasin yung bawang at tadtarin yung sibuyas e walang patumanggang pagkalakas lakas e iniisip na mukha ko yun ah. Hindi kaya?
