After the heavy rains, sunset in Philippine suburbia

It rained like crazy at around 3.00 p.m. By 5.30 p.m., the rains had stopped and gave way to a purple sunset. If only those darn Meralco wires didn’t ruin such a magnificent photo…

But I didn’t want to digitally edit the photo to remove the wire. I wanted to retain the original colors as I captured the sunset from out second floor veranda. I even saved the image in PNG format because colors turn dull when saved as JPG.
