Suddenly… pink blossoms!
One thing about living in a house that came with an already fully landscaped garden is that you’re not really sure what plants you have. There was this plant with long narrow leaves in a pot, and it really looked ordinary and boring so I relegated it to a corner by the garden gate. Then, one day, Speedy said, “Did you see the pink flowers?” Oh, my. The ugly potted plant was transformed! Three pretty pink flowers bloomed in a single day and more magically appear each day.
