A cat climbs up the bookshelves

Our cat, Pepper, gave birth to her second litter a few days before we moved to a new house. We worried about her and how well her seven kittens would handle the move and the noise and flurry of the ongoing renovation. One kitten died before we moved. it’s been two weeks since and only two kittens are left. Perhaps, Pepper wants to read the encyclopedia to learn how to better take care of her kitties?

The golden hues of the photo is not a Photoshop trick. The only Photoshopping undergone by this photo are resizing and the insertion of my signature and copyright notice. Pepper’s coat appears yellowish in the photo because the overhead lights are all yellow (warm white interior design lingo). It was tempting to edit the photo to make the natural colors of her coat come out but I like the photo the way it is. Kinda monochromatic because the floor, books and shelves are all in earth colors.
