Ditch auto white balance

If you’re using a dSLR camera and have only been using the Auto White Balance setting, you’re missing a lot. The photo above was taken with a Custom White Balance.

The photo below uses the Shade White Balance.

Of course, the colors of the first photo are more faithful to the original colors but the warm glow of the second makes it stand out better.

Sometimes, digital photo editors like Adobe Photoshop aren’t necessary for creating interesting photos.
