And the third prize goes to…

She sprained her right hand opening paint cans and bottles of thinner in preparation for their class presentation in the culminating activity for last week’s Linggo ng Wika celebration. Then, she won third place in an essay writing contest. That’s the prize she got. Not much in terms of monetary value but in terms of intrinsic value, it’s priceless. Especially for her mom and dad.
And that’s Sam on the background holding up F. Sionil Jose’s “Mass” which she’s supposed to finish tonight for her English class.
