Corningware, Corelle, Pyrex and Visions sale up to 80% (now 70%) off!

For those who have been asking for updates, there will be a sale of Pyrex, Corelle, Visions and Corningware items from November 12 to 15 at the Kitchenworld Showroom, 3rd floor, Eastwood Mall. This is the same company that held the sale mentioned in the original entry — they just moved to a better location. How do I know? Because a friend works there. But this isn’t a paid ad. It’s just a sale I recommend because when they say sale in that company, it’s a real SALE. And they don’t give you second-rate items or rejects either. No chipped china or rusty flatware. All real stuff at slashed down prices. And they now accept credit cards.
Be prepared to jostle with the crowd though — a sale this good and much-awaited for can get very crowded indeed. My advice — be an early bird. My first time to go to their sale, I arrived a little before lunch and, heck, I literally sweated through the shopping process. Crowded. But it was all worth it because the prices were great and the items even better. If you can’t go in the morning of the first day, go in the morning of the second or third day. Morning. Afternoons are, well… I WARNED YOU.

Last November, I bought some very gorgeous cookware and bakeware at a sale in Eastwood City. If you weren’t a reader back then, check out the entries here and here. I mentioned at the time that the sale is held twice a year, in June and November. The June sale this year was pushed forward but it’s finally happening. Corningware, Corelle, Pyrex and Visions cookware and bakeware on sale for as much as 80% off.
In addition to the brands mentioned, small kitchen items such as graters, whisks, sifters, salt and pepper shakers, glass pitchers and cutting boards also go on sale. I was able to get a nylon whisk and a microplane grater for a hundred pesos apiece.
Go early as it gets crowded by noon. When I was there last November, it was storming, classes had been suspended, but the place was still packed.
This is not an ad; this is a personal recommendation.

I think they open at 10. Try the Pyrex non-stick pans. And Corningware (love, love, LOVE Corningware).
I love my Corningware. I received 2 identical boxed sets of casserole dishes (7-piece set) as wedding gifts. I use only one set but I’m so thankful that I have a backup. I’ve been married 14 years so you see they last if you don’t drop them. I don’t use them for baking very much except for making stuffing and macaroni and cheese but they are great for the microwave and storing things in the fridge. Sorry, I needed to do a shout- out for Corningware!!!
I love my Visions saucepan and cookpot. I can see the food and I can use them straight from stove top and the dining table, no need to transfer.
Just a word of caution, the glass lid is Pyrex and not the same glass material as the Vision.
I want the Visions saucepan and cookpot! Hope there’s more when I drop by Eastwood tom. My mom has these and it’s been with her for years, that’s why I want one also!
more than 10 yrs. ago i gifted my mother with a set 8pc. pyrex glassware, very similar to the corningware kind. i would just like to know if these may also be used just like Visions? just want to be sure these are ovenproof and microwaveproof and may be used from stovetop(gas or elect) to the dining table. she just used these for serving purposes and wala na ang box/pamphlet. i often noticed atty connie using her corningware so i realized na baka pwede rin gamitin sa stovetop yung pyrex .
for those who have gone to the sale, how was it? marami din ba corelle dining sets and choices? what are the best buys? and how are the prices? are they really cheaper compared to the dept stores-sm, landmark, robinson’s and rustan’s? hope to hear lots of “buying sprees”/feedbacks…. thanks..
I did something stupid when I went to the sale kanina. I bought several “frying pans” (the guys there at the counter told me I could use them for frying), yun pala, they’re cookpot covers! Oh my. And I plan on giving them as Christmas gifts. Fortunately, the guys at Raffles told me I could have them replaced tomorrow .Kawawa the girl who hoarded them a while ago, thinking they can also be used for frying. But the lids have vision brand etched in them, so I am wondering if they can actually be used for frying.
Can anyone tell me if Corningware is more superior than Visions? Because I bought Visions but I am thinking of getting Corningware also tomorrow, although the latter is pricier. Thanks!
Ah the excess covers… I also bought Visions yesterday. A 3.5L casserole. My first time to try Visions although I’ve been using Corningware for many years. So, I can’t compare. Yet.
Thanks so much for this sale tip. My mom passed away recently and she loved Visions cookware (and had always wanted Corningware), so I felt that I needed to have some of my own,too. Her Visions have been in her household for quite sometime already, so I guess they really last long.
One tip. If you love Corelle, Duty Free has been selling them individually for a fraction of a price. They’ve been on sale since July, and last time I went there again (first week of Nov), they were still on sale. Small platitos are for a dollar lang. Then soup and cereal bowls for only 2.50. The plates are like 3-3.50 dollars. I swear, they were such good buys.:)
Was in the sale kanina and bought one large “cover” from Visions, aside from the 3.5L casserole. My mom has that “cover” from her Visions cookware and we used to use it to fry stuff. It was very handy for cokking stuff for breakfast, like hotdogs, eggs, etc. Plus the fact that after cooking, they cna be used as a serving dish also. So, straight from the stovetop, serve na agad sa table. It was very handy, which was the reason also why I bought one for myself
I could have bought more, except there has been so much sale going around, that supe wla na ako sa budget 
Maureen, thanks for the “cover” tip. I went back to the sale kanina to have the “covers” replaced, but the guys there assured me that they can indeed be used for frying.:) Yipee. At least I don’t feel bad anymore about buying so many of them. Like you, I wanted to buy MORE except that I spend so much na on other things because nga it’s a sale weekend. Next year again.:)
Hi! I have group friends and we love corningware, corelle, pyrex and visions. We always go to clark, to the mall, hoping we could buy the sale items. So glad to hear that corningware, corelle and visions are giving discounts up to 70% off. But i only read the good news now. I just want to ask, is there anymore extension of the sale?
