Last summer, my daughters started a cat and kitten blog — a repository, actually, of the countless photos they have taken of our pet cats and kittens. When the schoolyear began, the project had to take a backseat. Then, I revived it after I acquired my own pet cat. Well, sometimes, things have a way of evolving.
The cat and kitten blog now has its own home. More than that, Gail and I have started the Pinoy Pets Network. Filipinos who own and maintain pet blogs are welcome to join.
But that’s not the only animal-related thing I’ve done over the weekend. Speedy and I chaperoned our daughter, Alex, and three of her classmates to the Avilon Zoo in the town of Rodriguez (formerly, Montalban) in Rizal in line with the completion of a biology project — something about observing animal habits. I’ve posted the photos of the big cats (lion, tigers, leoprad). More to come within the week.

wow! a network for cats and dogs. when it is up and going, i will introduce it to my husband–it might convince him to get us a pet dog (right now, our 2 dogs are assigned only as guard dogs). how my kids and i love to have a pet dog!
