If you’re a member of Club EOS, you probably received this invite too to the launching of Canon’s latest DSLR model — the EOS 40D.
When the EOS 350D was launched, I got an invite too after I participated in a Canon photo exhibit at the Megatrade Hall. I even won a flash drive in the raffle.
I’m not going this time though. Well, unless I change my mind within the next few hours. The chance to own a Canon EOS 40D for free is tempting.

I was thinking of taking this month-long Basic Photography course in Intramuros, Manila as a gift to myself. They have this requirement “Film or digital camera, preferably one that allows you to set shutter speed and aperture manually. Check if your auto-everything camera allows manual exposure override.” Can u advise me pls as to what camera I should use? Siguro I don’t need the most high tech or latest cam pero mas gusto ko pa rin digital kasi na-aapreciate ko agad ang pics. Advisable ho ba to use 2nd hand? Limited po kasi budget ko. Pls help.
