Bye bye, StockXchang and StockXpert!
Stock.Xchang has been my source of free stock photos for years. When I finally outgrew its collection, I signed up with its paid site, StockExpert where five dollars can buy you some really cool graphics and vector artwork — very useful for making customized blog headers.
Then, I discovered 123rf.com which offers free and paid service. The setup is a little different. Those in the free section are available for 24 hours only so that every minute, new free photos are added to the roster while some get bumped off.
The paid service starts at $1 per.
What’s even more cool is that you can sign up with 123rf.com and offer your photos for sale. I might as well make good use of the too-many-photos in my hard drive and in my external hard drive. Of course, StockXpert has a similar service but I had a hell of a time uploading samples of my work when I was applying so that’s that.
Oh, but wait. Let me make it clear at this point that this is NOT some kind of ‘review me’ or pay-per-post entry. I don’t do paid reviews or pay-per-post. However, I did sign up for referral program.
So, if you’re you’re into stock photos, you can check out 123rf.com.
A third of what’s been written about me is true, a third is half-true and the rest consists of drug-induced hallucinations. I suppose I’d better let me, rather than them, tell you

Hi,
I linked you to my blogsite. I would love to register in the Pinoy Moms Network but I don’t think I can commit to the one entry a week guideline.
I am still building my site and I am glad to have found a cyber community that I really need.

Hi Ami. Don’t you think it’s a challenge and an incentive that if you can post one entry a per week in your blog, you can do the same in Pinoy Moms Network?
Hi Connie, thanks for the link, maybe i could do something with all my photos too… .Regards, MM
Hi Connie, I was just surfing the web when I came across your post, you might also try us! LuckyOliver stock photos. We’re a bit different.
Oh, and this is NOT some kind of ‘review me’ or pay-per-post entry- I run the company!

Bryan, is LuckyOliver doing so badly that you are forced to spam everywhere and recruit people like this?
Hey John, I didn’t feel like it was spam- Connie was writing about her experience with a couple of stock companies. What’s the point of comments? The post is directly related to choosing a new service and we have one to offer. Her post is related to commerce. Are we not allowed to talk about business?
I like the conversational tone of this blog, the design is clean and simple, and I’m a new dad- so it’s all relevant to me.
Bryan, I took a look at Lucky Oliver and I like the conversational tone too.
For photographers who want to sell their stuff, any mode of payment other than paypal? I couldn’t find the info related to that.
Yeah, sorry about that Connie. We have to update some of our pages. Carnies (photogs) can request a payout via check, paypal or moneybookers. Hope this helps!
