Logo of the Blanco Family
According to the museum guide, Jose Blanco was nicknamed “Pitok Bunggan” because he was bald and had a bulging tummy. The fish, with its protruding stomach, was his chosen symbol. Perhaps, the choice of the fish reflected his own youth as an art student who continued to fish to raise money for his tuition.
