She’s 14 and she’s going to be an artist. Her dream is to be able to do what they do in Pixar and she diligently practices everyday. She reads her daily dose of Naruto then draws what she sees on the manga pages.
Published with Alex’s permission.

Above, Ino and Sasuke.
Below, Naruto shippuuden: Sasuke and Sakura.

Above, Orochimaru and Tsunade. Still missing is Jiraiya.
I hope that my two brothers-in-law who are both artists see this. I know they read this blog and… see? Ang lakas ng kamandag ng dugo ng Veneracion!

11UPDATE:
Speedy to Alex, “Do you know that your drawings are on the internet?”
Alex: “Yes.”
Speedy: “You want some talent scout to discover you?”
Alex smirks.
Any talent scouts out there? I’m Alex’s manager.

12Hi Connie! What lovely artwork! Galing-galing naman ni Alex!
You mentioned that your brothers-in-law are artists…just wondering - are you related to Roy Veneracion?

13Candice and Boo, I don’t know Roy Veneracion. Truth is, I don’t know 90% of the Veneracions. It’s a huge clan in Nueva Ecija.

15Alex, galing! Clap, clap, clap!
My son Julian smiled when I showed him the drawings and he named them. He even called me “bulol” when I said Chunade when its pronounced yata as Sunade
My children are Naruto fans. Why we even have three DVD copies of the series. They each have their own favorites.

20ang galing naman ni alex! how i wish makapagdrawing din ng ganyan ang anak ko. (paborito rin niya si naruto) grade 4 na this year e stickman pa rin ang drawing. sabi ko nga “anak, kelan mo kaya palulusugin ang drawing mo?”
btw, para kay sam naman. last night, i came across this blog about a summer workshop on photography by gray area studios and michelle morelos- maximizing your point and shoot workshop, si sam ang naalala ko, she might be interested (hindi ko lang ma-recall, from your previous posts, kung naka dslr na si sam)

23Hey Connie, you really should have Alex join http://www.deviantart.com/. It will expose her to others with similar talent, and possibly expand her artistic horizons.

24What a talent indeed! I wish I can draw, it’s sad to admit that i can only draw stick people..hehehe. Kakainggit naman si Alex ang galing nya! I remember tuloy when I was in 5th grade, I had a crush on this guy who’s really good in drawing, sometimes when there’s no teacher around, instead of talking to others and making noise, he’ll just keep on drawing, he’s so quiet, kainis lang kasi he transferred to a diff school after 6th grade, natakot yata sakin! hehehe

26Hi Connie!! It’s been a long time since I made the last post post in your blog and it feels refreshing to read your articles once again. Wow! Your daugther got skills. I hope she won’t get dissuaded in her artistic pursuits. As a naruto fan myself, I would also suggest do some research on Japanese mythology and culture where the anime and manga is heavily based on.
