A theory on regional ethics

The Globalisation of Ethics by Hans Küng, professor emeritus at a German university, thinks that the “European model” is one that the whole of Asia should aspire to achieve.

It bothers me that the fundamental proposition is that Asia needs to copy the white man’s model to “make it.” I note, however, that the author is not exactly some benighted white man considering his views of Bush and the Iraq war.
