A peacock preens

The peacock photos from yesterday’s trip to Avilon Zoo.

It must be mating season — the peacock is preening and spreading its plumage in full splendor.

Below, just like in beauty pageants, the peacock makes quarter turns. Kidding. Actually, it was turning around, showing off its plumage. My husband just took photos of the quarter-turn angles.
